How are freight charges calculated?

Freight charges are calculated by cubic weight using Australia Post's standard national post rates. This amount can be seen before you fill in your credit card details on the online shop.

When can I expect my product?

Australian orders
Standard delivery is by Australia Post surface mail and generally takes 3-7 business days.

International deliveries
Standard delivery for International orders is by Air mail and generally takes 7-14 business days. Standard delivery for New Zealand orders is by Australia Post air mail and generally takes 5-10 business days.

What if my order is late?

Is GST/taxes included in the sales price?

Yes, a charge of 10% GST is included in the retail price shown. All prices shown are the final product prices, and then shipping costs are added to this cost.

What currency do you use for sales?

All prices are shown in Australian dollars

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and eChecks through PayPal. We have found that PayPal is a safe and secure way to make credit card payments on the web. PayPal is free for consumers and works seamlessly with your existing credit card and checking account.

When making a payment, you will be redirected to their site during checkout. If you have an account, enter your login information at the prompt.

You do not need to create a PayPal account to use PayPal. Orders paid by PayPal will be processed instantly. If you need more information please visit the PayPal website.

How long will it take to process my order?

We aim to ship items within 72 hours of receiving your order.
Your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock.
Some items maybe unavailable.
We regret we are not able to supply dates upon when an out of stock item may be back in stock.
We will keep you updated by E-mail as to the status of your order (unless you ask us not to).

What is your address for returns or exchanges?

We usually advise customers to contact us before sending items back to us, in order to make sure the claim is a valid one. We'll tell you the best way to handle your returns or exchanges and what you can expect from our end.

What if I want to cancel my order?

You may only cancel an order prior to it being shipped out. A deduction of 10% bank service fee will be charged for canceled orders. We shall not be able to process a cancellation once your order has been shipped.

What is your return policy?

All goods may be exchanged for a store credit note within 14 days from date of purchase providing the goods have not been used and are in their original packaging. Any goods that are returned damaged or altered in some way, will not be exchanged. Unfortunately, we do not refund for incorrect choice.

How do I exchange items?

The best way to arrange for and exchange is to contact us, as we will give you correct instructions pertaining to your particular order. Each exchange scenario can be different.

What if my package is damaged or has a manufacturing defect?

All products are carefully wrapped with utmost care to ensure a safe delivery to their destination. In the rare event that you encounter damaged goods, you may contact our staff for assistance: elizabeth@mimoto.com.au

Who pays for shipping exchange or return items back to Mimoto?

In normal cases the customer would be responsible for shipping their items back to us, whereas we shall be responsible for re-shipping exchange items back to you. Thus, we suggest you make careful selections before you finalize your order.

How can I find out about the status of my order?

If at any time, you would like to know the status of your order please email that request to elizabeth@mimoto.com.au

Please include your name, the date your order was placed, your PayPal email, contact email (if different) , and items ordered in the body of the email.

What if I want a rush order request?

If your order needs to be sent out as soon as possible, because it is a birthday gift or for some other special occasion please email elizabeth@mimoto.com.au as soon as you place your order. We are always happy to help in any way that we can!

What about Back Ordered/Out of Stock items?

If your order includes a listed back ordered item or an item that takes a few extra days to ship, the entire order will ship together once all items are ready to go. If there is going to be a longer delay than a few days, we will contact you via email to find out whether you would like us to ship all the items together once they have arrived, or send them to you separately.

Why register and what is involved?

Registering takes just a few minutes, but will save you lots of time as you will no have to re-enter your contact details each time you make a purchase. You will be able to view your order history via the website. When your register, you will also be given the option to receive regular updates on products, special offers and the website developments.
